There is a verse in the Bible that makes my heart pound...
“What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.” Matthew 10:27
This is why I write. This is why I sing. It's why I share my music with whoever will listen. I love God and I want to respond to His whispers with all I have, and with the gifts He's given me.
I have been writing songs since I was a tween growing up in the Midwest. Back then they were mostly about love and broken hearts. Now I write about my faith, my sweet, silly family, my observations on chocolate and coffee and other human attachments, and, still, the heartbreaks. Hope in the midst of the heartbreaks.
I graduated from Winona State with a teaching degree and now I am a homeschooling mom of 3 great kids, the wife of Mr. Incredible, a blessed daughter, a friend of many amazing women, and a student of the Bible. I am filled with gratitude for this life and purpose God has given me. Soli deo gloria!
